This section introduces how to connect with the KEYENCE PLC “KV-8000” series.

MC-200-7220A: I/O Interface Type
Pulse-train connection is supported, and command inputs can be provided via a high-speed positioning unit.
If you need to capture encoder signals or motor current values, a high-speed counter unit or a communication unit is additionally required.
PLC Units (Position Control)
High-Speed Counter Unit
Model: KV-SSC02
Used when the motor you are using is equipped with an incremental encoder.
Receives encoder signals.
If encoder counting on the PLC side is not required, this unit is not mandatory.
Serial Communication Unit
Model: KV-XL402
Used when the motor you are using is equipped with an absolute encoder.
Receives encoder signals.
If encoder counting on the PLC side is not required, this unit is not mandatory.
